hotmail connector

MS Outlook Hotmail Connector is used to synchronize MS Outlook account with a Windows Live Hotmail account. At times when Outlook is in process of synchronizing with Hotmail, Send/receive error can arise, leading to interruption in the synchronization process.

In this blog, we will focus on two such errors- Error 4350 and Error 4202. The reasons behind their occurrence and the workaround with which the errors can be resolved have also been discussed.

The Outlook Hotmail Connector also synchronizes the Blocked & Safe Sender address lists. This error is encountered when some of the email addresses are present in both Blocked Senders and Safe Senders list.

  • Open MS Outlook profile that has MS Outlook Hotmail Connector account in it.

Upshot

In order to prevent the errors from occurring in the first place, do not add the address of every junk email you get to the Blocked Sender’s list. In addition, add the addresses, which you consider safe in the Contacts folder. However, if the errors occur, you can try the above-mentioned solutions, depending on the error that you have encountered.
