    7. Afterwards, launch and run Azure Azcopy tool.
  • Transfer the PST File to Office 365
    1. Open the command prompt on the local machine.
    2. Now, go to the directory where the AzCopy.exe tool is downloaded.
    3. Here, you have to run the following command which is listed below:

    ( AzCopy.exe /Source: /Dest: /V: /Y)

  • Preview the List of Imported PST Files
    1. In the first step, download and install MS Azure Storage Explorer tool.
    2. Now, initialize the utility and go to Storage Accounts and then connect to Azure storage.
    3. Select Use a SAS URI and connection string option and hit on the Next button.
    4. In this step, from the Connection Summary page, select Connect then Storage Accounts after that (SAS-Attached Services) >> Blob Containers >> ingestion data.
    5. This step will enables you to connect all the PST data files.
  • Generate PST Import Mapping File
    1. Install a copy of PST Import mapping file(CSV file)
    2. Afterwards, populate the CSV file with the needed information
  • Set Up Import Job in MS Office 365
    1. Go to the Import Data page and give the settings as shown in the below image.

    2. Hit on Next and then upload the CSV file which is created in the above steps from the choose the mapping file option.
    3. Select Finish, now the job is listed in the Import data to Exchange Online page.
    4. Finally, choose Refresh and update the status, if the analysis is completed, the status is changed to Analysis completed successfully.

Method 2: Drive Shipping

  1. Step 1: In this way, a user copy and save the PST file to some storage device like an encrypted hard drive.
  2. Now, transfer the drive physically to Microsoft.
  3. In this step, when MS receives the hard drive, the data is been uploaded by data center personnel to a temporary Azure storage location.
  4. At final, the user can utilize the import service of MS Office 365, which will migrate the data to Office 365.
